PhET Simulations for Science & Math
Skill Level: Beginner Use: Interactive Science & Math Simulations
I love the University of Colorado's PhET Interactive Simulations which offers science and math simulations for elementary, middle, and high school, so I was excited last week when Lisa Gherman at BMS shared that PhET is now integrated with Google Classroom. Find your simulation and click the Classroom icon to share the simulation with your students. According to the email Mrs. Gherman received last week, "All HTML5 and Flash PhET sims are compatible with Chromebooks! You can find compatible sims by sorting By Device. "

Retiring or Leaving BISD?
Skill level: intermediate Use: Migrate BISD G-Suite data
If you are retiring or leaving BISD later this spring and want to retain information stored in your BISD Gmail, Calendar, or Drive, you will need to follow a few steps to move your information to a non-BISD account.
1. Sign into your BISD Google account and click on your personal icon. Then click, "My Account."
2. Under the middle section, "Personal Info and Privacy," click "Control Your Content."
If you are moving your data to a personal Google account, select "Start Transfer." You will be prompted to enter the destination account. Before you begin, please read the information on this page that shows which information is not transferred.
If you are moving your data to other services, you will need to choose "Create Archive."
Select which services you want to archive. If you open the menu next to each service, you will see the format the archived files will be saved.
